The last hope for the Greentek Gelfree S3 EEG cap?

The Greentek Gelfree S3 EEG cap was used by Krisztián Hofstädter for his YouTube demos:

Now it is used in papers with children:

Is this the final station before it becomes a toy for children and is sold by Franz Carl Weber?

Franz Carl Weber (short form: FCW) is a company in the Swiss toy retail sector. The parent company was located at Bahnhofstrasse 62 in Zurich for 125 years, and since 2016 it has been on Bahnhofplatz near the main train station in Zurich.

The design of the cap is in principle a good idea. Gelfree electrodes are also described in these papers:

If we look at the demos of the caps it looks as if it it was one of the most comforable caps to wear which is available. According to the specifications it runs for 2 hours. This is in principle a good design to use it for studies about meditation. But is this cap more than a demo cap? It has been used currently in two papers:

And one was a paper with children. We haven’t read these papers yet. But we are asking the question, are these more than papers? And why did no one else pick up this cap for their projects, students, iWorx, etc.? Is there something wrong with this cap? If so, is it possible to fix it?

We thought about for instance adding a laboratory pump with capillars to make it run more reliably. But we won’t do it, since we are not EEG cap developers. But if someone is interested in developing a cap which is comforable to wear and looks good, we think this cap is worth it to have a closer look at it. But not for Aliexpress sellers to increase the price for it. Since in the current state it is not convincing for us personally. And from what we have learned from the cap, we suppose it is a cap for developers. And if a EEG cap developer is looking for a cap to develop it further, we suppose this cap would be suitable for this purpose.
