The iWorx ROAM Wireless ECG & Respiration, Iworx ECG toolbox & HeartPy

Last Updated on January 19, 2023 by pg@petergamma.org

– has a non-standard placement

– is only a single lead ECG

-reminds us to Scott W. Hardens Sound Card ECG

– it can be used with the iWorx ECG Toolbox

– for our application, we rather would use a 3 lead ECG device as this one from iWorx:

– or develop one by ourselves

– The HeartPy toolbox of Paul van Gent:

– was published in Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour:

– We suffer because of that. Paul van Gent studied Cognitive Psychology at Leiden University. Following this, he worked at the Dutch Road Safety Research Institute (SWOV), where he developed an open sensor platform for use in naturalistic studies. Following this, he started a PhD at TU Delft. There his research focuses on embedded driver workload prediction, as well as interaction between car drivers and in-car systems. His reserach focuses on embedded driver workload prediction using deep learning, as well as interaction between car drivers and in-car systems.

Paul van Gent publishes in journals like the “International Cycling Safety Conference”

– Why was HeartPy not published in “The Journal of Physiology”:

– That would have made us happy
