EEG devices are expensive and complicated multi-sensor devices, which costs a lot. OpenBCI modules with 8 channels and WIFI shield can be produced inexpensively and the WIFI shield can be repaired. Multi-sensor devices which are combined from several 8 channel EEG devices with WIFI shield are more attractive for us personally, than for instance 32 channel EEG devices with 75 day money back warranty. 8 channel OpenBCI modules do not cost a lot, and can easily be replaced. Therefore, we see a bright future for 8 channel OpenBCI Cyton boards with WIFI shield and InfluxDB. This needs a hardware change in the OpenBCI Cyton board, but we think, the change is not too big.
