After 5,064 posts about meditation research in the low-cost segment:
Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org is asking. Is there a future of Arnaud Delorme s meditation research project using EEGLAB, Matlab, BIOSEMI amplifiers for 80 000 USD. etc?:
Or is the future of the meditation research project rather 4 ch EEG devices with the ADS1115, MNE Python & 3 channel ECG with the ADS1115 & HeartPi & 1 ch. for spirometry with a used spirometer from iWorx?
Does brain scan study participator Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche not review Richard R. Davidson s book „Altered Traits“ in the following video in his own words?
But what does meditation expert Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche say about meditation? Mingyur Rinpoche who suffered from panic attacks, as Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org. And the only solution Peters psychotherapists knew where drugs and psychotherapy. But Peter never understood the real causes of his panik attacks. His psychotherapist never was able to explain it.
And Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org promotes a bottom to top approach instead of brain scanners. Peter meditates since years:
Mingyur Rinpoche said in above video, meditation is good for your heart. And Peter noticed this. His resting heart rate dropped significantly. And he found it out with his Fenix 6:

But there is still some anger burning within him about DC Rainmaker and Rob ter Horst who want to make him believe that these smartwatches are highly accurate. But they aren t:
So Peter needs at least a 3 channel ECG device. And since Matlab supporter Adam Danz deleted all his Matlab posts, Matlab is dead for Peter. And will use Python and HeartPy instead.
And with another ADS1115 he can add 4 EEG channels to his device to have some brain data. And also here, he will not use Matlab and EEGLAB, but Python and MNE Python instead. And if he is lucky, he can integrate all these physiological sensor data without the need of InfluxDB.
Final year engineering students from India:

welcome to participate in this meditation research project from Switzerland.
