The end of EEG products which are based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments

After Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org has reviewed for many years about EEG products which are based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments, he should go back now to where he started 4 years ago, and buy the product which he hated already in the year 2019:

And these are:

Products from www.openbci.com

which are

  • expensive
  • no bluetooth
  • no new hardware developement

Products based on the The ADS1299EEGFE-PDK is a demonstration kit

  • they are so bad that they are not even worth mentioning

Products from OpenBCI made in China

  • they where launched years ago, but the product seems dead now.
  • in the www.openbci.com no one mentions to buy products from OpenBCI made in China. There are again and again new users, but no one mentions to be successful with it.
  • Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org will try it all the same, but he think he is the only one who tries it once more.
  • But Peter has tried it already, and they have sent him a WIFI shield with issues instead of the Bluetooth dongle he ordered.
  • And Peter suppose they will only send him products with issues.

PiEEG

  • Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org mentioned a 100 x times how miserable PiEEG is:

Products which are based on the ADS1299 EEG chip from Texas Instruments will eventually find:

Irene Vigué-Guix as an EEG user:

who launches new projects in the www.openBCI.com forum:

But they managed to get rid now of Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org.
