From reviews about Richard Davidsons «Altered Traits: Science Reveals How Meditation Changes Your Mind», to the accuracy of Apple watches, Hugo Plácido da Silva who explains how his one channel ECG device BITalino works, Muse S validation papers with 80 percent accuracy, the more views on YouTube the higher the sales rates for these products, the more visitors for Zen courses with animals on the Rigi Mountain in Switzerland as shown in this video:

And the more students come to the courses of Tibetan Mediation Master Loten Dahortsang in the sunny Toscana. Everyting controlled by business scientists to make maximum profit out of it? Everything seem to be available what the heart of meditators desires on YouTube and elsewhere in the web.

But where can we find long-therm studies about the effect of meditation which are performed for more than about 10 years which we suppose are required to unterstand a phenomenon. Is mental health not a subject which is of interest for the whole humanity? But should the knowledge how to get a healthy mind trough practicing meditation not be based on solid scientific findings rather than through short-sightet studies with the goal to incrase sales rates for products which are as a consequence only successful on the sort therm?

P.S. Zen with animals is also available in English, French, Italian and Chinese on the YouTube channel MediTIERE!:

for all visitors from around the world who are interested in these courses on the beautiful mountain Rigi in Switzerland. The Felsentor Retreat Center where these courses are offered is near the beautiful city Luzern in central Switzerland where every year thousands of tourists visit the city. Eventually you can find these courses in the “tourist information”.
