The animal protection center in Felsentor has existed since 2005

  • It houses animals that are usually used extensively in agriculture.
  • These animals should be able to spend their lives here on the Alp as freely as possible and happily according to their species.
  • In addition, the animal protection center provides information about the suffering situation of farm animals in general and their actual needs.
  • Help for rehoming animals is also offered. Reflecting on your own attitude towards animals and a greater awareness of their situation supports a happier life for animals and people.

Goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks and cats live at the Felsentor Foundation’s animal protection center.

Sister Theresia and her 9 former street dogs have now retreated a little further into the valley.

Nevertheless, she continues to support the animal protection center and will be present at the farm days.
