Teamviewer as a solution to remotely control you Android phone from Windows /Linux

I have searched since a long time for a good remote desktop solution for an Android phone:

Teamviewer should work in principle to solve this problem. And also over an ethernet cable and router. And Teamviewer works also on my Ubuntu PC. I have tested it previsouly, and it worked.
