Is it not better for physiologists & cardiologists to choose a Cyton 3 channel ECG which offers a validation paper instead of optical HRMS & not to choose intense activities with strong body movements as their research topic?

The Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) has no grant for research, but we are looking for a low-cost high-quality medical and research grade heart rate monitor which is very accurate, validated in a high quality scientific paper and accepted by researchers and medical doctors. For people who are also looking for such a HRM, we suggest those to choose a Cyton 3 channel ECG device instead of an Apple watch Ultra:

Which has been validated in this scientific paper:

written by a group of Canadian scientists from the University of Calgary working in research institutes in the fields of sports science to medicine. Rob ter Horst repeateatly said, he does not want to waist our time, we don’t want to waist your time either. We suggest you to use this device with this validation paper for further scientific investigations instead of the Apple Ultra, for which no accuracy validation paper is available. The Cyton 3 channel ECG meets the requirements for the gold standard device for heart rate measurements:

but not the Apple watch Ultra. For optical heat rate monitors it is difficult to find an accuracy validation paper which we can cite which fits our needs. But if scientists write a validation paper about the accuracy of the Apple Watch Ultra and show that it is accurate enough for our application we eventually will come back to the Apple Watch Ultra again.

Concerning intense activities with strong body movements, see our comment here:
