- We first became interested in Robert Oostenveld through the Nike EEG headband. He published a review about it on May 21, 2015 on his blog:

- We did not know who Robert Oostenveld was. We did only know about his Nike EEG headband and his OpenBCI encosure, which he reviewed on his blog.
- Then, we found out, that Robert Oostenveld is the only person which EEGLAB developer Arnaud Delorme follows on his GITHUB page:
