  • For non-coders and for users who only looking for a small form-factor Linux PC which is simple to use?
  • It seem to fit better to our needs than the PinePhone
  • The Raspberry Pi 4 is not very powerful. Even overclocking seem not help much, according to reviewers. But the Ubuntu desktop version for the RP4 seem to work great. Then it should also be possible to get this for Fedora.
  • The Raspberry Pi 4 can be booted from an external USB drive. The USB 3 drive is as fast as a sata 3 drive
  • The support for the official Raspberry Pi touch display by Fedora is great, maybe it is worth to spend the extra costs for it.
  • The Orange Pi 5 is a bit more powerful than the Raspberry pi 4, and has a special adapter for an SSD, which is great. Unfortunately, we do not know whether it is supported by Fedora.
  • Let us test if the Raspberry Pi 4 with Fedora works for our own special application, and send issue reports to the developer. It is one of our favorite device, if it is further developed and reviewed.
