Is flashing an OS on the PSPi with CM4 easier than with other CM4 carrier boards? We failed to install Raspberry Pi OS on CM4 carrier boards on our first attempts, as we have discussed it here:
- Is it easier with the PSPi?
- In this review, a CM4 lite without eMMC is used. It uses an SD card to install the OS on it.
- PSPi boards are compatible with CM4 with eMMC and without eMMC
- no matter which variant, it can be booted up in usb boot mode, using a switch on the PSPi board. Then it can be used like an usb drive.
- This seems to be similar or even easier than with the Seeedstudio CM4 ethernet board:
But we miss a proof of function that this works.
