PiEEG has announced PiEEG with 16 and 32 channels:
but is this better than 4 Pi’s with Pi EEG 8 channels? We do not know the answer. But for PiEEG with 32 channels all the EEG data of the four ADS1299 EEG chips need to be sampled at the same time:

Is it not easier to sample 4 Pi’s with Pi EEG 8 channels? Not urgently. The ADS1299 EEG chips need to be sampled at exactly the same time, and EEG sensor data need to be read out by daisy chain algorithms. So the major issue with these products is that the code for it is not yet available, and the effort to do this is most probably similar for both solutions.
