Support for Google Drive is poor in Linux. And if we have Ubuntu with a Docker image and MotioneEye on it, it is not possible anymore to write to Google Drive with it:

Since I had issues with synchronizing data from my Android phone to a PC without a cloud, I started testing NextCloudPi as a private cloud:

This works quiet well. NextCloudPi shown in the above instruction can also be used over the web. And I saw in the Ubuntu App store there is a Nextcloud Desktop Client which an be downloaded and conected to your own server. This is a solution for instance to make motioneye remote viewing easier:
