New or fresh Android installation seems to be required for the proper function of wired usb-c adapter which we need for a wired connection to NextCloudPi

We previously had troubles which such adapter which did not work properly:

Of the 4 old smartphones we tested with a wired usb-c adapter to connect our mobile phone to a router only 2 worked and the ip adress of the phone was visible in the router. We tested 3 pocophone 1 and a Fairphone 2. We connected the phones to the web and updated those.

But only one Xiaomi Pocophone F1 worked and the Fairphone 2 with the apapter. These where two phones which where fresh setup and where never used before. We therefore suppose that a clean and fresh Android installation is required for the proper function of a wired usb-c ethernet connection over an adapter.

Such an adapter is helpful if want a wired connection from an Android phone to a router to NextCloudPi which is connected to a PC for privacy reasons.
