- AJ Keller from Neurosity showed demos of the OpenBCI WIFI shield, and is as far as we know the developer of the WIFI shield.
- AJ Keller has left OpenBCI and founded together with Alex Castillo Neurosity.
- We have studied the OpenBCI WIFI shield, which in principle should be capable for MQTT transmission, the code is there. But we do not know of anyone who uses it.
- MQTT for OpenBCI was not developed further, since there is as far as we know no standard protocol for EEG transmission over MQTT, but over LSL.
- Neurosity devices use WIFI transmission. We do not know of any MQTT applications for Neurosity. Neurosity sais they connected their EEG sensors as close as possible to a powerful mini PC.
- Among the interfaces Neurosity is LSL.
- OpenBCI does not offer LSL over WIFI, LSL over WIFI it is brocken in OpenBCI.
