studied many meditation retreat centers in Switzerland in recent years. But one thing they had in common. And that is that most of them died, a view years after they cached his interest. Is this because rents are so high in Switzerland? And is this because it is so difficult to make money out of being a teacher who teaches meditation in Switzerland?
There is only one kind of center in Switzerland from which we believe that it has a future. And these are centers of individual people who meditate based on scientific findings. And one important research topic should be how these individuals can be financed.
One option would be if we see how important more knowledge about the effect of meditation could be in the context of mental health. According to the Buddhist teachings, someone is only completely (mentally healthy) if he is completely enlightened. But unfortunately the scientific basis for this statement is still missing. But what is interesting about this statement is, that the Buddhist teachings
are one of the view teachings who offer a way to complete mental health. And is this not a research topic which deserves more investigation?
