- We had issues with two other ubs2 hubs and the Raspberri Pi zero w2
- With an usb-c adapter which looks similar as this one we manged to get a keyboard and a mouse to work for a first test, do it also at your own risk.
- For the PinePhone we do only know of the usb-c dock which is not controversial if it is used with PostmarkedOS:

1. First example: Raspberry Pi OS & 4 usb storage drives & usb keyboard & mouse & ethernet over usb & second usb hub & charging
- According to leepspvideo it is obviously that it is better to use usb 3 for setups as the one he has demonstrated in this video, but he shows that it works.
2. Second Example: Retro Py & 4 gaming concoles & usb keyboard & mouse & second usb adapter & ethernet over usb & charging
- Retro Pi is an OS for gaming:

- Do these controllers not work with Raspberryi PiOS? .
- leepspvideo says the shown usb-c hub which he tested is brilliant.
- We did a first test with a similar usb-c adapter which has one usb 2 adapter less and a HDMI adapter instead.
- We used it with an usb keyboard or an usb mouse plugged in, and it worked for a first short test.
- Other usb2 adapters did not work on the device. Try to reproduce it at your own risk.
3. For comparison an demo of the Pinephone usb-c dock
- The Pinephone dock demo shows usb keyboard, usb mouse, hdmi, ethernet over usb and charging:
- with single board computers, we have usually an HDMI adapter, the Pinephone does not have HDMI and requires and adapter.
- The PinePhone demo shows LibreOffice running on the device, but to run LibreOffice on the Pinephone is controversial.
- Who uses Libre Office on the Pinephone?

- But in theory both these adapters the one for the Pinephone and the one for the Rapberry Pi zero w2 offer similar functionality.
4. Mango Pi QUAT and usb-c adapters?
- A thirt option among these Linux phones or single board computer to use it as a dektop PC is this one with a Mango Pi QUAT.
The Mango Pi QUAT
- is sold at a price which is competitive
- it has an usb-c connector instead of an usb2 connector
- it is confirmed that it runs Orange Pi OS which is derived as far as we know from Debian.
- a user reported that he had an issue with usb-c:
- If this issue can be resolved, we have a third device with similar options than the first two we mentioned.
