- Does LattePanda want to get rid of the MRIS who reviewed the LattePandas for two weeks by not offering it to Digitec Switzerland?
- First increase the price for the LattePanda (3) Delta for 50 USD, since the reviews of the MRIS increases the value of the LattePanda (3) Delta?
- And then get rid of the reviewer MRIS since it lists issues of the LattePandas, as this issue which describes how DFRobot precedes with the LattePanda?
And instead to try to force Swiss Digitec costumers to buy the more expensive LattePanda Alpha. Was the LattePanda Delta and Delta 3 not developed for users who need not to power of the LattePanda Alpha for a reduced price. Was the idea to pull the LattePanda 3 Delta the idea of a foolish computer software, or from short-sighted money makers with no knowledge of the substance who looses in a barbaric act costumers with a profound knowledge of devices. A decision of person who overestimates the value of LattePanda SBC, and does not seem to know that there are a lot of competitors to LattePanda SBC which as good as those or even better.
By pulling the LattePanda 3 Delta from the market DFRobot looses high quality Swiss developers and writes history as an amateur seller for SBC who behaves like a little child with no goal and no vision, who makes high quality costumers to retreat from a manufacturer who seem to lack a profound knowledge of the devices and the market of SBCs.
We deeply regret this decision of DFRobot, and think it is a big failure. But the more difficult and irrational LattePanda behaves, the more attractive become devices from other manufactures. Not only for us but also for other readers of our journal.
Again, the only explanation for us personally is that the manufaturer has knowledge that the device will be pulled from the market sooner or later and does not want us to buy this devices. Since what we experience here is similar to what we experienced with Garmins Varia Vision.
Altough we where interested in the device, and still are, supporters in the Garmin forum advised us to buy another product. Now, we come to the same conclusion. It is better to buy from other manufacturers than from LattePanda. Not only for us, but also for other costumers who have a problem with a manufacturer who causes these kind of negative experiences:
But all the same, we think it is a big failure what LattePanda does. And we think it is also a big failure what Garmin did with the Varia Vision. Even if these devices do not have a large community, it is there and it will be in the future. And what these manufacturers do is exploiting reviewers. And then pulling devices from the market causes an image problem to those companies. Companies as Garmin should keep selling the Varia Vision as a “service public”. By not doing this, this gives the image of a company who does only make money and lacks of other values. And that causes image problems. We deeply regret that DFRobot is not a manufacturer who offers x86 SBC computers on which we can trust, and we deeply regret that Garmin is not a manufacturer who sells insight displays on which we can trust.
