Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org was very happy that Chinese cloners cloned OpenBCI. It is now available on eBay and Aliexpress. The WIFI shield sold there has issues, but these issues can be resolved. How this can be done can be found on www.petergamma.org.
And now the situation is similar with the Pinephone. A Linux phone would be great in principle. But who pays 350 Euros for a Pinephone which is sold from the PineEU store? Shipping and import taxes makes out of the Pinephone a device which costs 450 USD for Swiss costumers. To buy it in the U.S. is cheaper for Swiss.
There are so many great devices available from China. Starting from OpenBCI to EEG caps, etc. So why do Chinese developers not offer the Pinephone and the Pinephone keyboard?
Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org supposes that OpenBCI made in China will be a success sooner or later, for all who think products from www.openbci.com are too expensive. And the same could happen for the Pinephone and the Pinephone Keyboard. Go on Pine64 as you did in the past:
And one day, we suppose the Pinephone and the Pinephone keyboard will be available from a Chinese hi-tec clone company, or a similar device. Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org invested a lot of time in the Pinephone and the Pinephone keyboard.
Chinese cloners, clone these devices, it is worth it.
