- Raspberry Pi OS does support it:
- but the Raspberri Pad 5 shown in the demo is not available anymore from BIGTREETECH.
- Fedora on Raspberry Pi 4:
- Fedora supports according to the Fedora documentation the official Raspberri Pi 7 inch touch display, but not the others. This setup has issues which are discussed in the Fedora documentation.
- But Fedora has according to the Fedora Raspberry Pi 4 reviewer tons of issues, and is according to the reviewer not usable for him personally.
Issue:
- We do not know of an alternative to Raspberry Pi OS which currently can be recommended to use with Raspberri Pi touch displays.
- If you can live with a first release of Fedora for the Rasbperri Pi 4 which has a lot of issues, you can also choose Fedora with Raspberri Pi 4 and the official 7 inch Raspberri Pi display.
