These modules seem to have issues. These are:
- issues of the Wifi shield
- faulty connector between OpenBCI Cyton and Wifi shield
But are electrical components such as OpenBCI modules faulty, if they are fabricated? Or is it from a lausy Chinese company? This is hard to believe.
But according to the little experience of Peter Gamma from www.petegamma.org

only view seem to be on the long-term interested in these components. If we read the posts in the www.openbci.com forum, are not most of those beginners? So for those who do not want to spent 20 000 USD for a 16 channel recorder from Adinstruments, it is eventually worth it to study the OpenBCI modules more in depth. Also the once sold on eBay and Aliexpress.
Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org is a private project on Peter s personal website. OpenBCI modules can now be bought on eBay and Aliexpress for a view 100 dollars. But is someone for instance in Switzerland would repair those manually, would the costs for those not approach soon those of the Adinstrumens recorders? But for the hobbists like Peter, we invite everbody to participate in the discussion:
Peter currently has 934 unread comments on www.petergamma.org. He does not read those now everyday. Since on the more than 2 000 sites, none of the comments was more than spam up to the present day. So we take a bit more time to read your comments below.
But maybe sooner or later some Chinese developers take care of this problem. We already asked Thomas Knopfel in Hong Kong to take care of it. Unfortunately without success up to the present day. But maybe also other developers will join us in our journey, which is a life-time journey
