Is there a risk for stock market speculations with the PiEEG platform?

We were surprised how many new products we found after we started reviewing in our journal. Products from which we do not know if they are targeted directly to us. We asked ourselves if this could have something to do that our project was triggered through a PNAS paper of Richard Davidson:

Richard Davidson said this paper has eventually lead to the founding of the Center of Healhy Minds in Madison, Richard Davidson is the founder of this Center. It is a large center with about around 100 people working there. We suppose that it was a big investement. And who paid for it? Whe where looking for an answer which we did not find. But we where suprised how many people tried to sell us products. And we asked ourselves, if this could have to do that people have invested a lot of money in this center with the hope to make money out of it. We do not know how much money has been made out of the Center of Healthy Minds in Madison. But if you look at our center:

We do not know if it is possible for soft- and hardware developers to make money out of us. But still we experienced that so many tried this. Especially we where suprised how many new EEG devices we found. And we suppose that they are controlled by a marketing software. Is it the software of Texas Instruments? Everything seems to be very conrolled. And we currently do not know of other people who are interested in these EEG devices. Especially the introduction of the PiEEG platform seemed to be very controlled and timed.

It is one of the most interesting platforms for us personally. But there is also a risk with it. After we have seen what happened with devices such as LattePanda Delta, Dreem 2, as well as EEG caps sold on Aliexpress, we suppose that these are all controlled by the stock market. We experienced that these products increased in prize in correlation with our interest in these products.

And now we wonder if someone would build a professional multi-purpose EEG device from PiEEG. What would happen? Professional EEG devices cost between areound 1200 USD and 100 000 USD or even more. But what happens if someone builts new EEG devices which can do the same as professional EEG devices based on PiEEG? Will the prize for PiEEG increase? It is currently not controlled by the stock market, but this can change. The example of Raspberry Pi Inc. has shown that we have to expect it.

And then we have to expect phenomena like what we experienced with LattePanda Delta, the Dreem 2, and EEG caps sold on Aliexpress. And that is if we would develop out of these devices which are used for research and medical applications and give positive feedback, that these increase in prize. But which developer wants investors in their development which offers product for a low price first, and then increases the prizes for those if the development is successful?
