Is the Orange Pi 5 more interesting for developers at the University level than the Raspberry Pi 5 & eventually also for young people?

Eben Upton CEO and founder of Raspberry Pi gave many talks on YouTube about Raspberry Pi.
Eben Upton has a PhD in Computer Science of the University of Cambridge:

Eben Upton’s face cannot be recognized on LinkedIn, is there a reason for this? Does he not want be be recognized in public anymore and to be blaimed for what happened with Raspberry Pi Inc? We have watched several interviews with Eben Upton on YouTube. But can Upton convince developers at the University level to choose Pi’s for their projects with the stragedy of Raspberry Pi Inc? Not us personally, and we will choose alternatives to Raspberry Pi’s if possible.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation has other goals than selling SBCs to developers at the university level, and that is to “teach, learn, and make” with the Raspberry Pi Foundation

“The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a charity with the mission to enable young people to realise their full potential through the power of computing and digital technologies.”

But every foundation has to be funded somehow, and we do not know where these funds come for the Raspberry Pi Foundation. And if these funds are not granted is this not also an argument to choose the Orange Pi 5 also for young people instead of the Pi?
