In this video Buddhist monk with a PhD. in Cellular Genetics Matthieu Ricard reviews a PNAS paper, a scientific study in which he participated:

Matthieu Ricard says in this video, the results might be revolutionary. If we watch Matthieu Ricards video it is very clear and straightforward. But what was the result of all of this? Is Matthieu Ricard not mainly a best-selling book author about books with Buddhist topics? He is not a spiritual teacher, as he once said.
And is Richard Davidson not mainly a best-selling author with his book «Altered Traits»:
And not a Nobel Price candidate, as we might think if the revolution Matthieu Ricard described would have happened. In the reviews about the PNAS paper and «Altered Traits» on YouTube we do not know of any where Richard Davidsons mentiones gamma waves the way Matthieu Ricard reviewed those. But we admit we did not watch all of those.
Is an an ssue the financing of Matthieu Ricard an Richard Davidson? Where these mainly private financiers who wanted just the money back from them? But should not topics like mental health be funded publicly?
