We repeat what we said before: Rob ter Horst, PhD. publishes on his YouTube channel The Quantified Scientist demos where he uses very expensive fRMI brain scanners, sleep labs, and other very expensive research and medical grade laboratory equipment.
But surprisingly, for his sports sensor accuracy validation studies, he uses two Polar 10 chest straps, which costs each 90 USD. Also he does not publish his testing protocol, so that it could be reproduced. That is not understandable for us personally.
Does this happens at the request of the sports sensor manufacturers?
Which scientist does not use the latest and best equipment which he can afford or which he can use if he associate with other scientists?
Not choosing this option makes out of Rob ter Horst, PhD. The Quantified Scientist Rob ter Horst, PhD. The Quantified Sports watch seller.
