We are physiologists, and not quantitative scientists, but we are interested in highly accurate heart rate monitors. But until the Apple watch Ultra is not validated in a journal like Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise through a high quality scientific study, the Apple watch Ultra is not interesting for us personally.
Even if we would have this study, we additionally would need to study the Apple Health Auto Export App by Librion Sobbers and Udo Berndts Home Assistant/InfluxDB example, which supports as far as we know only basic parameters. And to get to the sensor data we want, these developers offers us only these options.
Better would be an example with balenaHealth, the Apple watch Ultra tested in Dr. Desais Clinic, and a study with balenaHealth and the Stryd foot pod by fellnr.
