1. Do we have an agreement how to find the most accurate device?

2. Do we have a reference device which is generally accepted to be the most accurate device?

3. Do we have generally accepted testing protocols?

4. Do we have generally accepted accuracy study papers?

5. We have one scientist Rob ter Horst who walks alone and tests the accuracy of 100 smartwatches

  • He is”scientific advisor” who gives advices which smartwatches to choose for which activities.
  • But on which scientific data are his statements based on?
  • Where does he publish his scientific data?
  • Where does he he publish his methods?
  • Are his scientific methods uncontroversial?
  • Are his scientific results uncontroversial?
  • Have other scientists reproduced his results?
  • Did they confirm his results?
  • Are there scientific papers who confirm his results?

6. Is it possible at all the solve the problem of ECG movement artefacts which arrise with intense activities with strong body movements and to build a HRM which is highly accurate? The g.tec medical support answered to our request a while ago, that they do not know a manufacturer who has solved the problem of ECG movement artifacts, they can only be minimized for instance by using active electrodes.
