Here is shown that there are issues with the MangoPi MQ-QUAD running Debian and usb-c hubs:
I had problems with a Raspberry Pi zero 2 w and usb-c hubs connected over usb2 adapters.
- First I tried to connect the first usb-c hub, but neither keyboard nor mouse worked.
- I tried the second hub, it was the same model but another device. It did not work either.
- Then I tried the third usb-c hub. It worked, I could plug in an usb2 keyboard which worked with the Raspberry Pi zero w2. The usb-c hub was this product type:
usb-c hubs are not always recognized, I had in the past similar problems with other hubs.
For instance on my PinePhone, I tried 3 different usb-c hubs. None of them worked. A user in the Pine64 forum reported to have tested 12 different usb-c hubs with the PinePhone pro, most of them worked:

The most important thing with usb-c hubs is to have experience with these devices and share our experience with others.
