We describe here that we made very negative experiences with products which are at the stocks:
But the problem is not there when there is an abundance of it available and it is not on stock. For instance the Raspberry Pi 4 in Switzerland almost everywhere on stock. And even if it would be controlled by the stocks tomorrow, a single positive user report by us would eventually not be sufficient that Digitec Switzerland increases the prize for it, as it was the case for the LattePanda Delta recently.
For us personally, we give the Raspberry Pi 4 a positive feedback, since it is well established. And it is almost a Swiss quality product. It is not because it had issues with chip shortage in the past, which Swiss quality products did not have. If we give the Pi 4 a positive feedback, we suppose it will not influence the prizes at Digitec Switzerland, since it a mass product. And the Pi 4 has a community which we find for instance here:

But the Orange Pi 5 has no community which can be compared to this:

The forum is full of spam and not cleaned from it. And it is difficutl to find interesting posts there. The Orange Pi 5 is also a product which in the stock markets. His price is randomly scattered and we therefore suppose it is not stable. Furthmore it is difficult to find applcations for it. We basically found that is is used as a demo device.s
The worst experience for us personally was the LattePanda Delta who increased the price for about 150 USD for a 200 USD device after a single positive feedback from us at Digitec Switzerland. We therefore decide to buy the Raspberry Pi 4 if we need a a single board computer today.
