In the Garmin forum, information from the Garmin customer service where published how to optain a maximal accuracy of the Garmin Tempe sensor.
To optain an optimal accuracy of the Tempe, the barometric pressure sensor needs to be switched on and GPS has to be switched on, to calibrate the Tempe sensor. This is necessary to do every 10 minutes.
We could verify and reproduce this information.
With GPS off, barometric pressure and temperature where unstable, When GPS is turned on, and barometric pressure sensor is set to autocalibate, barometric pressure and temperature is stable.
We could reproduce it several times

Now, someone has removed this information, but it can be reproduced.
Unfortunately, when GPS is turned on indoors, it is possible the the watch records arifacts. A solution is to wear a foot pod, and program it the way, that the foot pod overrides the GPS signal for sampling data.
Foot pods are more accurate than GPS.
