The installation of the Home Assistant Operating System on a Raspberry Pi has become easier since we last have checked it. The HA OS allows editing of the HA .yaml file, which is essential for developers. Here is shown how to to do it.

There is an image available for the Raspberry Pi which can be flashed onto the Raspberry Pi via Raspberry Pi imager. The HA OS can be selected in the Rpi imager. Is is available for the RPi3 and RPi4 in the imager and can be selected there. This makes it unnecessary to choose a x86 LattePanda to run HA OS on it, as we suggested here:
- We suggest to change to another single board computer than Raspberry Pi as soon as possible since Pi has problems with availability since several years.
