  • After all, we are coming back to the Garmin watch
  • Accessing data from a Garmin watch, especially in real-time is very difficult, we suppose this is because Garmin does want it that way
  • But Garmin cannot develop special watches for every application
  • The Garmin watch is one of the devices which coders have spent a lot of time with it
  • we as non-coders as well
  • The Garmin watch has a lot of physiological parameters
  • Only view have the accuracy of research projects
  • We are currently evaluating this approach:
  • This approach is easy, but also time consuming for non-coders
  • once in a .csv file, data can easily be imported into Microsoft Access.
  • There is the Open Source Database LibreOffice Base
  • But the Microsoft Access .csv file importer is better. Fit files converted to .csv can easily be imported.
  • The Microsoft Access imported .csv have an excellent structure and are very well labelled after import.
  • Microsoft Access Standalone is 165 USD:
