Is the situation not a bit better in Switzerland than in New York? Are there any people who build such crazy devices such as the OpenBCI Galea no one buys?
If you are for instance a molecular biology student in Switzerland who is attacked again and again by opponents of genetic engineering, and then for your diploma thesis, the PhD. student who is the supporter for your diploma thesis says to you, your job is to genetically modify measles viruses.
And if you then asks critical questions about genetic engineering to the molecular biologists, they asked you “is it not better that you leave us?”
And the PhD student who is your supporter kill himself one year later on because he falsified his scientific results.
And then you get a crisis and dye your hair from one day to the next as a molecular biology student, although you are known to be very conservative, and everybody around you is worried about you.
And finally your family sends you to their family doctor, who asks you „where is your problem?“ And you are not able to give him an answer. Then he will send you to a psychiatrist who understands that you are not able to give an answer where your problem is. And this is an example how to get help by a psychiatrist if you are sick (or someone made you sick) and need help in Switzerland.
