Manually create Garmin Activities with user defined names
Manual data input into Home Assistant, InfuxDB is something for Computer Engineers. But it is possible to create custom activities for instance with a Garmin Fenix 6, you can give labels to your acitivities, which then can be streamed to Strava and from there to Home Assistant. In that way you can manually input labels to the activities which are streamed into Home Assistant / InfluxDB.
The user interface of a Garmin watch to imput data for instance to label an activity is terribly simple, but there are other Home Assistant devices available, with a more sophisticated user interface, for instance a keyboard to input user data.
