We stuck here:

Do edit the YAML file, we need Home Assistant supervised, but HA supervised is difficult to install.

This Youtube video shows how to add Home Assistant Supervisor panel after December 2021 update:

but this did not work on our Rasperri PI 3 platform – not supported. So we installed Home Assitant on a HP 4100 according to the following instruction:

https://www.home-assistant.io/installation/generic-x86-64

  • Now it was possible to install the Studio Code Server plugin
  • Now it seems also possible to edit the HA YAML files.
  • But we miss the Server Control option in Homeassistant to restart HA, as many others, as google search «Missing Server Controls Options in Homeassistant» shows:

https://www.google.com/search?as_q=Missing+Server+Controls+Options+in+Homeassistant&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&lr=&cr=&as_qdr=all&as_sitesearch=&as_occt=any&safe=images&as_filetype=&tbs=

If file manage is installed, we can find an option to restart Home Assistant in the file manager options (top right side).
