How to develop an exercise stress test with an Apple watch and a Xiaomi treadmill in Home Assistant?

Xiaomi treadmill and Apple watch are already integrated in Home Assistant. If we want to do some experiments with these device we can test if we can develop a basic exercise stress test with it. We want to start doing some experiments to test how we can replace an expensive GE case system which costs new 14 000 USD:

And this is the exercise stress test we can do with the GE case system:

We are using the Bruce protocol. Here is another example of this protocol:

The Bruce protocol goes up to about 10 km/h:

We do not know if a Xiaomi treadmill and an Apple watch are suitable for the Bruce protocol. But we can to start doing some experiments with those since these devices are already connected to Home Assistant. We can can later update or replace the Xiaomi treadmill and the Apple watch other devices as soon as they are available and easy to use with Home Assistant.

We have no ECG data with this setup but we can replace later on the Apple watch with an ECG device such as OpenBCI. We do not have blood preasure data as well, but we can an add such a device later on as well.

The Bruce test and was not developed for an Apple watch but we can start doing some experiments to see which data we can get with an Apple watch.
