How to Calibrate Temperature Sensors

• Many temperature sensors are incaccurate, for instance the Garmin TEMPE

• the TEMPE sensors which can be connected to Home Assistant can or must be calibrated to be accurate

• respiration rate from Garmin watches need to be calibrated as well, since the signal is not accurate

• but how to get an accurate temperature signal?

• Weather channels give temperature information which is +- 1 degree

• this still does not mean that the measurement has to be accurate
• if necessary, choose a high-quality temperature measurement device for calibration
