We are very surprised about that Alexandre Barachant and Irene Vigué-Guix, that they show Lab Streaming Layer demos of Interaxon Muse and OpenBCI on their personal website, but do not use these for their professional research. Both of these devices have the potential to be used for this purpose.
But both demo makes made their demos only on their personal web site, as if to show as that these are devices which can only be used for fun and in our spare time.

This is wrong. Arndaud Delorme has demonstrated before, that it is possible to connect the Muse 1 using the Muse SDK to LSL and doing professional research work with it. The same with Mind Monitor and the Muse. There are several examples here in this blog, that the Muse headband together with the Mind Monitor can be used for professional research.
