How do we get our Polar H10 chest strap data to Home Assistant and InfluxDB?

There is an option available over Polar sync. You can find it in our journal. But we can use also a Balena Health Raspberry Pi, which here in the example Ryan Hampton uses a Polar H10 chest strap:

We can connect Balena Health to Balena Home Assistant:

And then following the example of the Apple watch stream the data to InfluxDB:

We can do the same over Polar Flow. But if we need data from another BLE sensor, for instance a foot pod, Polar Flow does not work. But we can eventually modify Balena Health for it. These are sophisticated software projects for advanced users. But if you are one of those, developers welcome to make a video, a student project or scientists write a paper about it.
