Usually expensive treadmills are heavy and well built. This one catched our attention since it costs only USD 1799. But Shipping to Switzerland are 2’205 USD
On the other hand shipping costs of a 10 `000 USD treadmill from the south of Switzerland (Ticino) to Zurich is 250 USD:

But is this treamills sold in Ticino 5 to 10 times better as the one sold in China? According to the prize tag it should be, but is there a proof for this?
We found similar high shipping costs for treadmills sold in US to Switzerland. Therefore importing treadmills from US or China to Switzerland is not worth it for us personally. And we will not buy a 10`000 USD treadmill in Switzerland. We stay with our Newgen medical treadmill with Treadtracker speed sensor and a training tracker and continue to publish the issues these devices have until we have found a better solution. One issue are the reviews we found about treadmills. Are they at the highest level possible? And does it make it any sense to differentiate between “fun treadmills” tested with “fun tests” and professional treadmills? Eventually for business scientists who want to control those with their marketing software but not fur us treadmill users.
