Has Texas Instruments too many sellers who want to keep prices for EEG devices high?

what do you think about this topic? Where there any posters among the EEVBLOG posters which where not Texas Instruments EEG device sellers?

We tried there to find affordable alternatives to products from www.openbci.com four years ago, but we failed. And after 107 posts in the EEVBLOG and four years later, the affordable alternative still is not there.
