On the site https://omstars.com/ it says:

Understanding the Deep Philosophy of Yoga for Spiritual and Mental Wellness

«The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve a state of inner peace, known as “samadhi,” through the integration of our physical, mental, and spiritual selves. This peaceful state allows us to experience a sense of happiness and contentment that transcends our everyday worries and concerns and taps into pure consciousness»

The Dalai Lama the 14. uses often the terms «happiness» and «inner piece» and we do not know of a definition from him for this terms. He often uses these term simultaneously:

What happens in the brain during these mental states?

Inner peace

As physiologists we suggest that samadhi which means inner piece correlates with a mental state with high alpha brain waves

whereas

Happiness

correlates with a mental state with high gamma wave activity in the left prefrontal cortex.
