Guiding stars of the meditation scene Switzerland

Lama Pema Wangyal

Looten Darotsang

Diego Hangartner

Fred von Allmen

and many more. All of these are highly qualified teachers in Switzerland where the density of billionaires is high:

And should not 20 years after the PNAS paper:

https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.0407401101

Something more happen in a rich country such as Switzerland after the expectations Matthieu Ricard had risen 20 years ago as far as science and meditation is concerned?

Something more than Richard Davidson who wants to sell „Altered Traits“ to the Swiss?

But where do we find meditation research projects in Switzerland, next to on www.petergamma.org? And what has happened there? Did Peter Gamma from www.petergamma.org

demolish the high expectations Matthieu Ricard, Richard Davidson and Daniel Goleman have risen? But Peter find himself on the solid ground of the reality in Switzerland. He lives on the breadline, but is not afraid of failure. Thise is the reality of Peters private meditation research project in Switzerland. And isn t it time that something new is happening, for instance in a rich country such as Switzerland?

Time for instance to investigate scientifically real guiding stars in meditation, such as followers of Milarepa

Followers which are still around 1 000 years after Milarepas death? Milarepa who was trained for 12 years or more, and was a guiding stars and saint among the teachers.

Is mental health not a hot topic, not only in Switzerland, but all over the world?

And is meditation not strongly related to a healthy, happy mind? What has happened in Switzerland is that Hohenegg, a psychiatric clinic for adult patients has become interested in the meditation expert Diego Hangartner:

So is this no something which is worth mentioning? And would not also Peter s life have been completely different, if he would have learned from his psychiatrist in Switzerland a long time ago about meditation, when he started to visit him on a regular basis? But where do we find a scientific basis which would allow psychiatrists to teach meditation? Is Richard Davidsons “Altered Traits” suitable for this purpose? And is a scientific basis really necessary for this? Or are self-experienced teachers and therapists enough, who eventually healed themselves by meditation, and now teach it to they students?
