- The Greentek Gel-free EEG cap is not only beautiful as the model which demonstrates it. But it is also practical and much more comfortable to wear than an Gel EEG cap, and has a better signal quality than dry EEG caps.
- This cap, if developed further to run 24 * 7 for instance by moisturizing the electrodes by water tubes connected to a labory pump, could replace many other caps which are currently used.
- According to Greentek Sensors, it is possible to build such an EEG cap with up to 128 electrodes. For EEG studies which where performed for instance in Richard Davidson’s lab, 256 channels where used. For 256 channels, the Greentek Gel free electrodes are too big.
