The Pinephone allows folder sharing from a destop PC if you want to restore the direct access to your phone which was possible before Android 5

For those who want to restore a feature similar to usb access to your Android phone which was killed by Google in newer Android phones. This can be solved with the Pinephone:

• Folder sharing is possible for instance if you miss the usb access to the external SD card in Android phones with Android 4.4. or older.
