- We managed to install Raspberry Pi Os on the device, but we did not get to work and usb keybard and usb mouse, and touch keyboard and on-screen display all of which instructions on YouTube suggest that it should work, but all of these options failed.
- remote desktop is required for installation
- according to leepspvideo if we connect a Raspberry Pi zero 2 w over HDMI to a monitor with speaker, audio should work over HDMI. Therefore we don´t need an extra Bluetooth module with powered audio speakers as used in this setup.
- We managed before to install Raspberry Pi OS on the device, and we had it on a 10 inch screen which we had connected over HDMI to the Pi zero 2w.
- leepspvideo showed an instruction how to contine the installation with an iPad and the app Fing, but we don´t have such a device, so we use here an Android phone to continue the setup.
- To install is difficult:
- we has installed Raspberry Pi OS before what we managed. We tried to use an usb keybard and mouse to start with, but failed
- We had to reeinstall it according to the instruction of leepspvideo which is difficult
- take the SD card out of the Rpi zero 2w again
- we have to make a modification on the Rasperry Pi OS
- run Raspberry Pi imager
- we have to tap on the settings weel or “control + shift + m + x” to get to the settings tab
- set hostname…
- set ssh…
- fist time password with Raspberry Pi is “raspberry”
- configure wifi
- you have to enter SSID and password
- SSID TP-Link-20C4 which is the SSID of our router
- Then the password of our router
- we reinstalled the OS
- at the start up, we should see a control box with “SSH…” to connect with an app to this but we don´t
- Did we type the password right?
- Did we type the SSID for the router right?
- Did we type the password for the router right?
Is it worth it to spend more time for such a difficult installation of mouse and keyboard?
