Control you Raspberry Pi from your smartphone over a wired ethernet cable?

Currently I only can find this old instruction in Hindi which does this:

  • You can see in the above video that a usb cable is used to connect the Android phone to the Raspberry Pi.
  • Also Raspberry Pi expert SSTec Tutorials from India had this unstruction in English.
  • But I can’t find it anymore. I
  • t was also critizised not to work.

So SSTec Tutorials changed to as solution with a HDMI to usb capture card:

  • But we miss a wired connection over ethernet which would eventually allow touch control of the Raspberry Pi
  • It is less bulky.
  • Can be used easier as a mobile device.
  • Allows more control from your Android phone since you have cable ethernet.
