Should we buy a LattePanda V1 with Windows License & 4GB / 64eMMC at Digitec Switzerland?

  • We personally prefer a SBC with Linux, since the Windows licence for a SBC is expensive compared to the costs of the devices.
  • We can buy a LattePanda V1 at Digitec Switzerland also without a licence:

  • and install Linux on it.
  • we found only the Ubuntu version which was used by users. We have discussed this topic previously. There is a GITHUP project available for it, but no OS image download. And does touch work with it?
  • there is an instruction for Lubuntu for this device, but are there any users who use it?
  • We observed that the price for the LattePanda V1 at Digitec Switzerland varies on a daily basis and goes up and down. Does someone do stock marked speculations with the device on a daily basis?
