What shall we do if we do not want to waist our time with projects which eventually will be outdated concepts soon?

Who wants to invest time in OpenBCI, if we will have 8 channel PiEEG in 10 month from now? An alternative is to invest time in products which are relatively new. We suggest for instance to invest time in the following projects:

  • to lean Python
  • to learn about InfluxDB
  • to do some experiments with Home Assistant, Grafana & get familiar with the Raspberry Pi platform.

We think these projects will not be outdated, soon. They are eventually a big step for beginners, but we do not risk to waist our time with those. We suggest for instrance the following projects:

Computer engineers Rahul Banerjees instruction how to read, write and delete data in InfluxDB with Python:

The instruction from smartlive-net.de how to Visualize Apple Health data in Home Assistant:

Are these projects not good starting points for people who are interested contemporary low-cost high-quality physiological multi-sensor platforms? They are relatively new, and other projects will eventually be outdated concepts soon.
